In celebration of Pride month, we at Out on the Shelf are launching a fundraising campaign! Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our library has remained closed since March 2020. We've extended library membership and waived all fees, as we're unable to provide access to our fabulous collection of books, DVDs, are more.
Once the library re-opens, we're hoping to celebrate by expanding our collection, focusing on books by and about LGBTQIA+ Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour communities.
We're also focusing on increasing our capacity to provide programs and services that are accessible to all, including providing ASL interpretation for Guelph Pride events.
Help us grow our collection, provide anti-oppression training for all volunteers, provide ASL interpretation and closed captioning for virtual events, and continue to serve the local LGBTQIA+ community in the Guelph and Wellington area.
