BOOK CLUB |
We are back in person!
Hosted every third Thursday of the month
The Book Club is a program that operates under Out on the Shelf to connect reading enthusiasts members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community in Guelph and its surrounding areas to see friendly faces, meet fellow readers, discuss poetry, novels, and to discover new pieces of literature.
For each book readings we do in the program, there will be a free copy of the book that folks attending can borrow for the time being to read and chat about in the club, no purchase necessary. Accessibility needs requests (large print books, audiobook, etc) will also be provided for members by request.
For the month of June we will be reading: Amateur: A Reckoning with Gender, Identity, and Masculinity by Thomas Page McBee
Register for our event here or email programming@outontheshelf.com to get your copy of book for our next program.
*Please check our Instagram for updates on books or any changes to dates/time (@ootslibrary)
Members and participants must adhere to the group's shared values. These values include:
Participants should expect casual and light conversations about literature and see friendly faces, understanding, respect, with no pressure in a laid-back environment.
